Tr-ans Man Welcomed A Baby Boy After Being Told By Strangers That He Couldn’t Fall Pregnant

A tra-nsgender male told he couldn’t get pregnant has now given birth to a beautiful baby boy. While tra-nsitioning to become a man, Wyley Simpson was surprised to discover he was pregnant.

And having started tes*osterone therapy and hadn’t experienced a me-nstrual period for several years, he didn’t believe he could conce-ive.

However, He Learned He Was Pregnant With His Fiancé, Stephen Gaeth. Despite not feeling ready to welcome their first child, Wyley proceeded with his pregnancy. And he often had to deal with unkind comments and judgments from strangers.

Speaking about the pregnancy, Wyley said: “It’s not every day that someone sees a pregnant man walking down the road. So we received a fair amount of abuse.” “I would be told that I’ll never be a man, ‘men don’t carry babies.’Everyone called me ‘it.’”

But It Wasn’t Just Public Opinion Which Made The Pregnancy Difficult. Wyley also struggled to come to terms with the emotional side-effe-cts. He admitted: “Having gone through the tra-nsitioning process [for years] having a phys!cal baby bump was something so feminine that it me-ssed with my head.”

Wyley Then Gave Birth To A Baby Boy, Rowan, Via Emergency C-Section.Since welcoming their first child, Wyley has settled into parenthood. He explained:“Once my physical bump had disappeared, and I was able to take my ho-rmones again. I felt good about everything,”

“[Stephan and I] then turned into a g*y couple with a baby instead of me being a pregnant man.”“Now [we] are just reveling in fatherhood and can’t wait to continue our journey as a family.”Going forward, Wyley doesn’t intend to have another child. He hopes to undergo a full tra-nsition in the future.

He said:“I am looking to fully transition in the future, so the likelihood of having another child naturally is unlikely.”“It was a great feeling to be able to carry Rowan, feeling him k!ck, and going to baby scans. But for me, as a person, it isn’t something I can continue to do.”

“I don’t see myself as any less of a man because of what happened. But I just do not identify in such a feminine way as to be pregnant – so it won’t be happening again.“But I am glad that I got to go through something as amazing and natural as birthing my own child. It’s definitely made [me] and Rowan’s bond so much closer.”
