Tory Lanez’s dad has ru-shed to defe-nd him after he was cha-rged with fe*ony as*ault. The musician, 28, is acc*sed of sho*ting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot in July, when they left a party in LA.
He f!ercely denied the alle*ations, stating the ‘truth will come out’. And dad Sonstar Peterson spoke out in support of his son – real name Daystar Peterson – amid the cha-rges.
‘My son at torylanez I say to you this day,’ he said on Instagram. ‘Stand still, and see the salv-ation of the Lord, which He will show to you today; for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall see them again no more.
‘You will not have to f!ght this ba*tle. Take up your positions; stand fi-rm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you Daystar.‘Do not be afra!d; do not be di-scouraged. Go out and face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.’
Lanez was cha-rged with one fe*ony count each of a*ault with a semi-automatic f!rearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered f!rearm in a vehicle. He also faces a g*n alle*ation and that he personally infl!cted great bodily inj*ry – with his arra!gnment scheduled for October 13.
The star was previously arr*sted and cha*ged with possession of a f!rearm, and now faces up to 22 years in pr!son if found gu!lty.Prosecutors said the all*ged incident happened on July 12 when Lanez and Megan, 25, were in an SUV in the Hollywood Hills area.It is believed that the pair got into an arg*ment, after which the WAP star got out of the car,
Lanez is said to have sh*t ‘several times’ at her feet, wo*nding her. While it was originally reported that Megan cut her feet on glass, she later named him as her sh*oter in an Instagram Live video. Bre-aking his silence after the cha-rges, the Say It star penned: ‘⏰ will 🗣 … and the truth will come to the light. ‘I have all faith in God to show that … love to all my fans and people that have stayed true to me & know my heart.’The singer added: ‘a cha-rge is not a conv!ction.‘If you have supported me or meg thru this, I genuinely appreciate u.
